I have always felt that we as citizens of the society should be able to contribute back to the society.
My Parents enthused this thought in my life, as I always saw them helping the needy. Their empathy towards the society and its underprivileged members also encouraged me to take up active social work.
I believe strongly in the ideals of equality, inclusion & diversity. The adoption of these principles in my practice helped me remain consistently non-discriminatory and non-judgemental. My encompassing attitude has enabled me to work effectively from a person centric approach and develop positive working relationships with service users and co-workers alike. Through utilising my strong inter-personal skills I have supported service users towards developing life skills and attaining their personal goals. As part of this pro-active approach I have promoted choice, Independence, dignity, rights and responsibilities.
